NDPP Progress & Success
Andrew
Head of Service Delivery
Since we've won our new NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP) contracts, we have seen a massive collective effort across Thrive Tribe to support contract mobilisation in our new NDPP areas!
To recap we have won contracts in 6 areas, namely:
- Derby & Derbyshire
- Cambridge & Peterborough
- North West London
- North East London
- South West London
- South East London
The mobilisation team has worked brilliantly, and has really achieved so much within a such a short period of time! But we thought it might be nice to summarise some of the progress that has been made to date:
- We have been working so hard to get the Information governance and data sharing agreements across the line, have been formulated and submitted/signed.
- The People & Operations Team have created team structures, circulated job adverts, advertised and shortlisted applicants.
- Many people have been involved in Recruitment events in all locations, both virtually and in person, with successful candidates being offered roles.
- Employment contracts have been signed and sent to all successful applicants, confirming their roles.
- New starters resources have been sourced and ordered for new team members.
- The Quality and Training Team have been working on Induction plans and the training team, they have created the initial training plan to welcome our new people.
- The course content is being designed, refined and altered to suit the new contract areas, and the bespoke needs of particular client groups.
- Delivery venues have been scouted and booked in some areas by our Operational Teams, allowing the new programmes to start delivery as early as December.
- The Marketing and Promotions Team have been promoting the services by launching a series of launch webinars promoting our new courses, creating resources, updating the website and supporting the on-boarding process for service users.
- Course content has started to be translated into key additional languages and resources identified which will be used for clients with additional learning requirements.
- Our financial framework for billing, budgets, payroll and monitoring processes have been set up.
- The Tech team have been adapting all technical requirements such as delivery models, basecamp, reporting and dashboard development.
- Live client referrals have already started to be received in Derbyshire!
And if that wasn’t enough, we’re also mobilising a new Adult and Children’s weight management service in Brighton which will be going live next year!
As you can see there has been an incredible amount of work gone into getting these contracts to a point of welcoming our new team mates into their roles, and enabling the new team members to start supporting clients from the above areas!
A HUGE THANK YOU, and a HUGE WELL DONE to all everyone involved, which has enable us to move forward so far, so quickly. It’s impossible to thank everyone who has been involved in this process in this post, but I’d like to give a special thanks to Fiona Harding who has worked so hard to manage 7 diverse workstreams full of keen, talented, dedicated people moving forward in a cohesive way, bringing the whole project together 😊.
Whilst un-finished, it’s been an incredible undertaking to date, and amazing to see the Thrive Tribe family come together and rising to the challenge, showing how amazing we are!
Thanks to you all……
