A fantastic volunteering opportunity has come up recently with our charity partner, Tommy's!

On Tuesday 30th November, the Tommy’s Children’s Carols will be taking place at St Mary Abbots Church in Kensington. This is a fun filled fundraising event to kick off the festive season and raise money for Tommy’s via ticket sales. The event has been organised by friend and supporter of Tommy’s, Marina Fogle.

The team at Tommy’s are looking for 6 volunteers to support in the following ways:

• Checking tickets at the entrance
• Handing out programmes and (battery operated) candles
• Ushering people to their seats
• Collecting donations at the end of the evening (manning the doors)
• Collecting up candles as people exit
• Tidying and clearing the church

The service is 6-8pm so volunteers would need to be available for a briefing at 5.30pm and would be free to leave at around 8.45pm. This is most suited to anyone who would already be in London that day.
