Any Totem post that uses the above logo gets me buzzing with excitement, and this one is certainly no different! As we previously mentioned in our Events webinar, ThriveFest this year would be moving location away from The University of Northampton - where we've held it for the last 3 years. Well, we can now officially confirm that this years ThriveFest will be held at
Having visited the campus, based in Coventry, I can honestly report that this campus is a special one! It's a self-contained, picturesque and tranquil area, that manages to to be peaceful and rich in green spaces, while perfectly introducing modern, eye-catching buildings. Combining this with an extensive list of facilities and activities, it creates the perfect blend for an ideal setting for this year's event. No wonder The University of Warwick is the 6th most targeted University in the UK right now!
There will be many more details released over the coming months, but to aid you in planning travel, here are a few basic travel-based details:
Dates - Wednesday 11th September (all day), optional overnight stay and the morning of Thursday 12th September 2024.
Times - Arrival for 10am on 11th September, for a 10.30am start of our morning session. Check out and therefore departures can be planned before 10am on 12th September.
Address - The University of Warwick, Coventry, CV4 7AL
Methods of Travel - Please travel mindfully, economically and as environmentally friendly as possible. Many of our larger services will arrange bus travel and will be sorted by the services directly.
If this isn't viable for your team/area, smaller teams may want to drive, but please car share where possible. There will be free parking provided for the event if you do need to bring your car.
If you need to catch a train, the nearest station is around a 25 min walk from the campus and is just over 1 mile away in distance. The nearest train station is Canley Station. Coventry station can be used, but it's suggested that a bus is then used to transfer you to the campus.
One for the diary now... Later this week we will be releasing a registration form on Totem for this year's ThirveFest event. All permanent staff are required to complete this as soon as possible, even if you're not attending, so we can start gathering requirements and numbers. The form will stay open until the end of June, but please complete it as soon as you are able to.
