Hello fellow Tribespeople,

The London team at Freston Road have long sought to get a football team together and participate in a local league. To that end, we have entered a Powerplay 5-a-side league starting in January 2023. This is a very challenging league at a high level, and we desperately need to increase the numbers of our team, ‘Thrive Tribe FC’, in order to get a team together on Monday evenings at 8pm/9pm KO times. Games are 50 minutes long and unfortunately, due to insurance reasons, the league is men’s only.

Close to White City, Westway Sports Centre is home to the Westway 5-a-Side league. Only a short walk from either Latimer Road or Ladbroke Grove Underground (Hammersmith & City/Circle line), players are treated to the Powerplay brand of weekly social & competitive football. Coming by car the nearest exit from the A40 is the White City & Harlesden turning. There is also free on-site parking and changing/shower facilities for players to use. The site is right next to the Freston Road office, the Sobus Hub on 196 Freston Road W10 6TT, but we’d recommend to enter the sports centre through the main entrance on Bramley Road.
