The Environment Agency is warning that the UK could face serious water shortages within the next 25 years and that water conservation at every level is crucial. Here are 3 easy ways you can save water at home:
- When you use the kettle, only fill it with the amount you need. This will also save electricity and time!
- Turn the tap off when you are brushing your teeth. A running tap uses an average of 6 litres a minute!
- Have a shower instead of a bath. On average, a bath uses 45 gallons of water more than a shower.
