It's Pride Month!

Happy Pride everyone! This month and always we’re standing together against homophobia and discrimination, because everyone belongs at Thrive Tribe!
Pride is a celebration of coming together in love and friendship to show how far LGBTQ+ rights have come, and to highlight the work still to be done. It’s about acceptance, equality and raising awareness of issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community.
As in the previous few years, we encourage you to use our Pride themed Thrive Tribe logo in your email signatures throughout June to stand together against homophobia and discrimination. If you would like to use this logo, download a copy below and copy and paste the image into your existing email signature.
Where did Pride month begin?
In the morning of Saturday 28th June 1969, the LGBTQ+ community rioted following a police raid at the Stonewall Inn, a bar in Manhattan, New York City. These protests changed rights for the LGBTQ+ community all over the world. From this event comes the annual reminder in June to come together, educate each other and move forward with equality.

There are loads of great charities and support organisations sharing resources on not only Pride month, but LGBTQ+ news in general. Stonewall is a vibrant movement for change, continuously fighting for freedom and equality – read their article on being an ally here! Mind also have some great resources focused on mental wellbeing for those who identify as LGBTQ+.
