Last Thursday the Lincolnshire team made their way to Heartsome park for a fun morning full of socialising, rounders and… lots of… food!

Members of the team had the chance to bring family and friends along for the day too, which added to the fun of the day. Those who wanted to play rounders were split into two teams, led by Dan and Nigel) and took to the pitch! Dan’s team were steaming ahead after the first inning but their progress plateaued with a draw at the end of the second inning. Each team had one more round to which Nigel’s team came out victorious- so it was a draw all round.

Once the celebrations had been had, those that played rounders rejoined the rest of team for food and drink. It was so lovely to see everyone having in depth catchups about everything from work to what holidays plans they had booked, the atmosphere was amazing.

Everyone was so generous that a lot of the food was taken back to the office for the team to enjoy throughout the next weeks, which is not something anyone is going to complain about!
