One You Surrey have been awarded a new contract to deliver carers health checks!

The project will focus on working in partnership with Action for Carers, identifying people who would benefit from a remote health check (an adapted version of an NHS Health Check) and effective signposting to address any healthy lifestyle support needs. Whilst Public Health funding will often encourage engagement with carers, it’s fantastic news that a dedicated fund has been made available with a focus on access; a significant driver behind why carers tend to be under represented accessing many services across the county. This, coupled with remote One You Surrey smoking cessation and AWM options on offer, means we’ll be in a fantastic position to deliver an excellent contract and help people live healthier and happier lives!
