The NHS-funded National Diabetes Prevention Programme (NDPP for short) is a wonderful opportunity for us to further widen the support we give across the UK. We were successful in securing our first NDPP opportunity last year, and have delivered this across Cornwall for just over 12 months. The team have done an incredible job at delivering this programme, achieving a 1st place ranking on the retention of clients across all programmes, ran by all providers, across the whole of the UK! Go Cornwall team, and all who have supported- you have done an amazing job in this first year!!! And you've also managed to have some fun too - bonus!

Fast forward to this year, and in this wave of bidding we have won an additional 6 areas to deliver this programme! These areas are as follows:

• Peterborough & Cambridge
• Derby & Derbyshire
• North East London
• North West London
• South East London
• South West London

This opportunity will allow us to support up to an additional 56k people and will allow us to develop a comprehensive and empowering programme that will support those identified as pre-diabetic, and referred by health care professionals into the NDPP over a 9 month period.

Currently, there is loads of work being conducted, by upwards of 50 staff members from all areas of Thrive Tribe, supporting the mobilisation of these new and exciting opportunities.
