Mental Health Awareness Week
Trev
Head of People & Internal Communications
The focus this year is movement or your mental health - a message that runs through all we do. As we are aware, and regularly promote with our service users, research shows that regular physical activity can make us happier and healthier. Our bodies release feel-good hormones when we're active, which can reduce anxiety and stress and help us sleep better. By building movement into our working day, we can have a positive impact on productivity and focus.
Why not therefore take this opportunity and go out for a quick turn around the block! It doesn't need to be the whole 30 mins, just take 5 mins and go enjoy the sights around you, get the heart pumping and those feel good hormones running through your veins! Your body and your mind will thank you.
