Introducing our new theme for March – Gender Equality!
As you know here in the Employee Experience team we have decided to focus on a monthly theme throughout 2022 to raise awareness of issues surrounding health and wellbeing, the environment and diversity and inclusion. We kicked off by celebrating all things ‘kindness’ in February – thank you SO much to everyone who got involved in spreading cheer during the month, including sharing your Random Acts of Kindness stories, taking part in our Kindness Calendar and especially to those of you who joined us for ‘Coffee and Kindness’. Your positivity really brightened up what can be an otherwise gloomy month!
Gender Equality is recognised globally in March, which is why we have chosen it as our theme for the month. We’re passionate about providing equal treatment and opportunities for all, irrespective of gender identity. For us, this means;
- Equal pay for comparable roles
- Inclusive benefits
- Equal opportunities for training, progression and promotion
- Family friendly policies and flexible working arrangements
As part of our Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility strategy we have evaluated our job descriptions to remove gendered language and shined a spotlight on successful women at Thrive Tribe, with many more projects in the pipeline. You can read our full D, I & A strategy here!
Throughout the month we will have plenty of resources to share, including those focused on Women in Leadership (look out for International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8th March!), eating disorders and the impact they have on men, as well as practical tools such as discovering your own unconscious biases!
