As many of you will be aware, I have been joining team meetings to understand what knowledge, skills and resources you feel you need to be most effective in your roles. One of the topics that came up early on in my meetings was on listening skills.
Good listening skills are an essential skill for building relationships, trust and ensuring that the person you are speaking with feels heard. The following piece of training explores the art of listening and Stephen Covey's 5 levels of listening. Embedded throughout are reflective activities, encouraging us to take a moment to stop and think about our own listening skills, whether that be with a client or in a meeting with a manager or stakeholder.
