Financial Wellbeing

Emma Adkins
Head of Internal Communication

Our coaching partners, Sanctus, are on a mission to break the taboo on talking about money, as our finances play a key part in our emotional wellbeing.
George from Sanctus says 'As we all know, while there has been such great progress made around mental health, many conversations still remain taboo. The trouble is, there are other conversations and topics in our lives that are considered a bit taboo to talk about. Topics that are not directly about mental health, but invariably end up impacting it. Money is the perfect example of this. Generally speaking, as a society we tip-toe around the money conversation. And yet, money, just like mental health, is a part of every single one of our lives and the impact that money has on our mental health can’t be overstated. Half of all adults in problem debt also experience a mental health issue because of it, while the reverse is also true; those experiencing a mental health issue are more likely to fall into debt.'
