Saturday 10th August will be a record breaking day! This is because we are hosting our Family Fun Run Day! The records we'll be looking to set is to get as many of our people and your families to simultaneously complete a local Parkrun event.

Specifically, we’ll be looking to measure:

‍
1. The amount of people taking part (our people & your friends and family members).
‍
2. The amount of different Parkrun locations accessed across the county.
‍
3. The total distance simultaneously completed by all taking part!

We’re asking for a minimum £2 donation per person taking part, made to PKD which can be made here. You then register with Parkrun to be able to take part (click here). You then attend your local/chosen Parkrun location and complete the distance. The distance can be completed in any way – walk, jog or run - it's up to you entirely. Remember It’s not a race, the time is for your records alone - we won't be asking for this at all.

After you've completed the event, you fill out a very quick (<2 min) Microsoft form accessed here. Please note that this form doesn't go live until August 10th. These are then what is used to run the prize draw from.

As a thank you, everyone of our people who takes part in the event will be entered into prize draw to win upto 4 tickets to a Merlin attraction of your choice, allowing a family (or friends) fun day out! (up to a total cost of £200). The attractions that you'll be able to use these 4 x one day passes at are:
