The importance of demographic data…

This month we will be launching our annual Health and Wellbeing Survey for 2022!

 

As well as Health and Wellbeing topics, the survey will ask important - though sensitive - demographics such as age, gender identity and ethnicity alongside questions centred around researched constructs of inclusion such as fairness, belonging and voice. These questions will help us to measure the degree to which our culture creates an inclusive environment where people of all backgrounds can thrive.

 

We’re looking to gather as much feedback as we can about the collective experience at Thrive Tribe. Gathering this data is important because it allows us to identify how different groups of people feel about aspects of work (such as work/life integration) so that we can make positive changes, and with a high participation rate we can confidently take actions that focus on making life at Thrive Tribe more inclusive and equal for all.

 

As a result of last year’s survey we have provided information and support in a variety of topics, including women in leadership, menopause, financial wellbeing and sleep. We have also amended our job descriptions to ensure they appeal to a diverse pool of candidates, reviewed our Onboarding process, implemented Stay Conversations across the organisation and we are in the process of reviewing our benefits package to ensure the perks we offer benefit everybody!

 

 

Will my answers by anonymous and confidential?

We will not be gathering identifiable data such as your name, email address or other contact details so there will be no way to identify specific individual responses. All responses will be kept confidential, and not shared with anyone outside of the immediate project team (Employee Experience Team). The survey results will be presented in aggregate.

 

 

I provided this information last year, do I need to complete it again?

We understand that identities are fluid and can vary depending on the situation, time or period of life. We have also had lots of new starters since last April, whose opinions and feedback we have yet to gather!

 

 

What if I don’t want to disclose this information?

Answering the demographic questions is not mandatory, for each question there is an option to select 'prefer not to say’. Your feedback is important to us so even if you do not wish to disclose this information you can still take part in the survey!
