Closure of Plan B Restrictions

Andrew

Head of Service Delivery

Following Boris’s decision yesterday to abolish plan B restrictions, we thought we’d drop you a line to confirm our position.

Operationally, our Commissioners, Heads of Services and other Line Managers determine local and team needs. We anticipate a hybrid model of delivery across our services I.E. a mixture of face to face, remote and digital options will exist in some format going forward for many years. Your Heads of Services are in constant communication with our commissioners and they discuss this frequently, they determine the local needs. Therefore if you have any questions or concerns please talk to your line manager or Head of Service in the first instance.

From a policy perspective, our ‘Flexible Working Principles’ and our Safe Working Principals remain our overriding guidance of how we work at Thrive Tribe. These policies are constantly reviewed in line with Government guidance by Jackie, Oliver and their teams, they will let you and your Head of Service know should things change.

Government Guidance to ‘work from home when you can’ no longer applies. Therefore offices are open, available to use as workspaces or for meetings if you prefer working that way. However, please be mindful and considerate of your colleagues’ welfare – some people may be more vulnerable/anxious regarding COVID, and we need to be cautious and continue with sensible behaviours when around one another.

Where we are providing or planning to deliver face to face client interventions, we will continue to use relevant safety measures in line with the NHS. We will work with Heads of Services to clarify the approach in all other settings. So, no major changes following the announcement, please speak to your line manager in the first instance if you have questions about local plans and thanks for your ongoing support.
