Black History Month 2024
Cassandra
October marks Black History Month and for 2024 the theme across the UK is "Reclaiming Narratives". This year’s focus is on amplifying Black voices and correcting historical inaccuracies by sharing authentic stories of history and culture. It’s a reminder that through education and engagement, we can all contribute to a more inclusive understanding of history while applying this awareness to our daily interactions and how we acknowledge diverse experiences.
We’ve gathered some key resources, events, and ideas to help you celebrate Black History Month. Whether you're interested in watching an interesting documentary, attending a local event, or simply learning more!
