Sutton Poyntz is a picture postcard village situated just a 5 minute drive from the seaside town of Weymouth in one direction, and 10 minutes to the County town of Dorchester in the other direction. The village is quiet and peaceful, with plentiful countryside walks on your doorstep.

There are two well regarded country pubs within a short walk, one of them overlooking the picturesque duck pond in the heart of the village, which serves everything from wood fired pizzas, to Sunday lunches. The setting is beautiful, with weeping willow trees overhanging the clear spring waters that trickle through the village. Amenities are close by too, with two convenience stores, as well as takeaway fish and chips within a short walk. If you feel like venturing further afield, Old Harry Rocks, Corfe Castle and Swanage Bay are all brilliant locations for a family day out, all reached by car in under an hour.
