Working on Public WIFI - Is It Safe?

Avoid connecting to public wi-fi
Using a public hotspot without protection makes it easy for attackers to sneak malicious software (malware) into your device. Scammers can inject an infected ad into a seemingly safe website, tricking you into filling out a phishing form, or even fooling you into installing a fake app that records everything you type.
Remember, if something seems too good to be true... it usually is!
Some of the other threats that using public unsecure Wifi networks can pose are:
- Identity theft via online victim profiling
- Stealing your passwords
- Stealing your passwords
- Snooping for confidential data
- Business Email Compromise
- Ransomware attacks
- Session hijacking
- Taking over your online accounts
If you are in a public place with no secure wifi, hotspot using your work mobile phone instead. If at an point you think that you may have been compromised, contact ESPRIA on 01480 425 666 immediately!
Thanks all, and together, lets work safely.
