Who are PKD - our new charity partners for 2024?

Well PKD or The Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity are small charity that focuses on developing awareness about the condition PKD, even funding more research into PKD! Te charity also raise funds to support people who have his incurable condition. This support will vary from person to person, and family to family but can include:

• Support groups,
  ‍
• Help with dealing with needing kidney dialysis
  ‍
• Even undertaking a kidney transplant, and the many impacts this can have on somebody.
  ‍

This condition is often heredity, so many members of the same family can be diagnosed with PKD, meaning they will most likely need medical intervention and support for many years, as a family unit.
