One You Lincolnshire Games Night

Staff at One You Lincolnshire used the Lincolnshire offices to full effect on 12th May by hosting a 'Games Night'.
With a large open office space, big screen TV and late night access it seemed like the perfect space to get the One You Lincolnshire team together for some fun, and FRIENDLY competition 😊!
The night's activity included:
- Wii console including Wii Sports and Mario Kart - some mad skills on show throughout the night with plenty of tennis grunts and banana skin spin outs!
- Table Tennis - you know this got competitive!
- Uno - "Snap! I mean... Oh shooks".
- Dobble - next time the OYL team play this, we need security on site!
- F.R.I.E.N.D.S Games - you know, the one with the ball!
The night was a great success, with loads of fun! "It was nice to catch up with everyone outside of work, and in a more relaxed and chilled environment" said Sydelle Williams, who also very much enjoyed the controversial games of Dobble!
Team members bought in their own snacks (with Dan Rogers bringing the essential ice and enough Dr Pepper to quench the thirst of a small village!) Millie Johnstone baked some cookies and Dan Newby baked some brownies! Debbie Semper and Clare Parrott also supplied veggie platters and fresh fruit too - sounds delicious! Some team members also ordered takeout to round the night off.
Dan and Millie went head-to-head in a table tennis battle which resulted in Millie getting ping ponged to the face! But Samuel Challenor dominated the table tennis matches, finishing the night with an unbeaten record, despite much effort from Luke Craggs, Paul Noris and Dan Rogers, amongst others, to derail the winning streak! If you are ever in Lincolnshire offices, Samuel has issued and open invitation to play him.
Paul Norris spent the prior week and his lunch breaks unlocking the best Mario Kart courses for everyone to play on - but in reality he was just getting some practice in as he schooled everyone all night! There was however, one major upset for Paul's unbeaten Mario Kart record on the night, when Dan Rogers unexpectedly crossed the chequered flag ahead of Paul and immediately retired from motorsport, with his 100 percent race winning record safe!
Maybe you and your service fancy a little game off against Lincolnshire on a virtual Mario Kart race? Or a distance game of heated Dobble? If so let us know in the comments below. Or maybe you want to hold a games night in your office?

Looks like an awesome evening! Great to use the office space in Lincolnshire for this! I look forward to hearing how the next one in July goes!
