Zahistha Begum Raj Gafoor and Rukhsana Uddin assisted Malsa Ibrahim in attending Camberwell Mosque and their Women's Health Event this week. The idea was to showcase our NDPP work, and how this can support members who are pre-diabetic.

We received some great feedback, with lots of women enjoying talking with the team, and understanding more about our NDPP offer and how this can help. The NHS South East London ICB team were very impressed with our service and feel the need to provide easy access to our service in reducing risk of Type 2 diabetes.

We had a great experience promoting our programme and received a lot of appreciation from Manpreet Maycock (VITAL 5 programme, Guy's and St Thomas' ) and Hajia Saidat (Southwark Community Health Ambassador).

We've been invited to attend future events to promote diabetes prevention to support women in the SEL community in preventing type 2 Diabetes risk.
