It's no secret that life in the UK at the moment can be tough, some of the reasons these we might be finding things hard at present could be:
- Financial health - the cost of living crisis, Energy costs, mortgage rates etc.
- Physical health - being sedentary at home and work means we can sit for long hours per day.
- Social health - living fast-paced lives it can be difficult to fit it all in, and time with friends and family can often suffer.
- Mental health - remote working, childcare and the other three areas mentioned above, can effect your mental health negatively.
But, it's not all doom and gloom! working at Thrive Tribe we have access to some brilliant resources and services to help supports us all if we are experiencing any of the above life stresses. The first one, you may not have used as of yet, is part of the Life Works platform we all use to recognise each other's achievements. On this platform there is a section called "wellbeing" (third tab across the top) in this area you will find loads of support material and resources covering many topic areas! Here's just a few:
One of the really useful tools on the wellbeing section of the platform, is that there is an assessment tool, which allows you to assess your current "health" levels in for key areas to overall health; Finances, Physical health, Social health and Mental health. These are a really good starting point to helping you prioritise areas to focus on and once completed, the assessments will provide personalised recommendations to resources to help guide you to a healthier and happier you!
