Thriving Nottingham attended the Positively empowered kids festival on Sunday 23rd June, held in the Arboretum which is a beautiful park close to the centre of Nottingham. Like the name suggests, the event is all about empowering children and the festival is all about children's wellbeing and engaging them in meaningful activities and positive activities. They make capes and take part in a superhero walk, for example. The team gave out about 370 mini bubbles to kids. Had a circus skills area, a positive affirmations board and also shared resources for mindfulness practices.

In excess of 3,500 children attended this event, and the tam had a wonderful time inspiring the next generation on the importance of good health and wellbeing.
