This session is an introduction to Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) & Co-production. ABCD is an approach to sustainable community-driven development. Assets in the community use their strengths and collaborate on elements of service such as design, delivery, and governance approaches, to improve them, this is co-production. Co-production was included in the Care Act 2014 and has gathered momentum in public health. Visit the Social Care Institute for Excellence for a great introduction.

This training is for anyone that is working directly with a local community. It will help you identify and map out the range of assets within the community and introduce you to co-production which can lead to an enhanced quality of service and strengthen community wellbeing.
